Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Oslo with focus on statistics, probability and uncertainty quantification. His research interest include anything related to Bayesian theory/statistics, geo-statistics, graphical information system, machine learning, and building command line parsers.
Jonathan has much experience as a software developer from Simula Research Laboratory, Norway’s highest ranked ICT research institution, His programming skills include an extensive knowledge of Python. This includes Numpy/Scipy, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and Keras to name some of the libraries he has experience with. He is also familiar with other languages, like C++, Matlab, R, Bash and VimL, and can easily adapt beyond this.
He also has extensive experience as a teacher from institutions such as the University of Oslo, Smerud Medical Research, and House of Math.
